About the project
- We’re working with a U.S. software company to develop a web hosting platform in Ruby on Rails, that is meant to provide integration with different types of JavaScript frameworks from React, through Vue, Angular to Next, and more.
- The platform transfers 200 TBps of data at peak; and, with over 300 data centers, it focuses on super-fast application response anywhere in the world.
- The result of our team’s work will be especially appreciated by other developers, who will get their hands on the tools to develop and deploy their applications quickly and easily.
What you’ll do:
- Be part of the Console team, which develops individual backend applications for further integration to the web dev console platform.
- Work in Ruby on Rails, GitHub Actions, and NPM
- Collaborate within an agile development team in the U.S. and Europe.
- Participate in technology selection, help determine the direction of the project, and have complete control over the packages that the Developer Tools team develops and releases.
What you should be familiar with/be able to do:
- Experience developing web applications in Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Troubleshoot implementations with complex functionality, find bugs and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communicate daily in English with the U.S. team.
