About the project
- We’re working with an E.U. software company to develop a robust platform that allows easy deployment to municipalities across the world.
- We’re building a MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) platform that enables cities to take control over urban mobility.
- The result of our team’s work will be visible all around the world, you will have the opportunity to influence how the platform is built, operated, monitored, and scaled.
What you’ll do:
- Utilize Java Spring framework for server-side development, ensuring seamless integration with the front-end systems.
- Extend your knowledge of reactive programming using WebFlux and RxJava
- Coordination of the API contracts to the other teams (mobile & web)
- You’ll be responsible for the deployment and engineering processes using Gitlab and CI/CD
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team – technical architect, the test team, front-end, and UI teams to ensure a smooth delivery of product features
What you should be familiar with/be able to do:
- Extensive experience as a backend developer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- 5+ years of proficiency in Java, or a strong background in similar technologies and a willingness to quickly adapt.
- Solid understanding of back-end development principles.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate daily in English
- Strong sense of engineering best practices
