🚀 Full-Stack Engineer | AI Applications / RL Environments | Remote

Join a stealth AI startup building production-grade infrastructure for reinforcement learning environments used by leading AI labs. These systems are part of the training loop of modern AI – helping shape how models are evaluated, improved, and deployed.

This is applied, production-facing engineering work, not research or experimentation for its own sake. The role is remote, contract-based, and ideal for a high-ownership engineer who can move quickly from a project specification to a working product.

💻 What will you work on

• Build full-stack applications end-to-end across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Translate loosely defined ideas and project specifications into production-ready systems
• Design and implement systems for RL environments and agent workflows
• Develop applications supporting AI model evaluation, training workflows, and deployment processes
• Ship quickly while maintaining code quality, clarity, and maintainability
• Collaborate directly with founders and researchers on fast-moving technical projects
• Move from 0 → deployed system independently

🛠 What we expect from you

• Strong technical skills across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, Next.js, and modern development practices
• Database and data modeling experience, including SQLite or similar systems
• Solid understanding of system design, debugging, performance, and technical tradeoffs
• Ability to write maintainable, production-quality code
• Proven ability to build and ship full-stack applications end-to-end
• Practical experience using AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code to accelerate development
• Ability to review, refine, and take ownership of AI-generated code
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal direction

💡 Nice to have

• Familiarity with LLMs, agents, or AI-powered systems
• Hands-on background in designing systems for reinforcement learning environments or agent workflows
• Exposure to data pipelines, scraping systems, or automation-heavy applications
• Comfort working in highly autonomous environments with limited meetings and oversight
• Background in a startup, freelance, or rapid-build environment is preferred
• Previous collaboration with founders, researchers, or small technical teams
